Eddyside/Heil Pools Feasibility Study

Recently, City officials accompanied by representatives from the architectural firms of Spillman Farmer architects and Wallover Architects, came to ask for input concerning prospective changes and improvements for the Eddyside Pool complex.  These changes were in response to grant monies available for the renovation of both Eddyside and the Heil Park pools.

Below are two documents that are the result of that input and additional work.  The first document is the actual report, detailing the background, research, methodologies and findings of the architects as well as a group of citizens assembled to act as a local community board.  The second document contains the specific plans recommended, some alternative plans and some costs associated with the plans, along with non-construction oriented recommendations for Pool Management, Event development and the like.

We will be outlining the next steps for this project shortly; however, we present these documents for your general review and comment.
